WINTERFEAST 5:30pm - 7:30pm – A fabulous array of culinary delights as the best restaurants in the Blowing Rock area come together at Chetola Resort (in the Evergreen Room on the 2nd Floor). Join us for this annual dinner that will kick off Blowing Rock WinterFest 2012! Participating restaurants include: Timberlake's Restaurant at Chetola Resort, Rowlands, The Table at Crestwood, The Gamekeeper, The Best Cellar, Sixpence, Canyons, Foggy Rock, The Green Park Inn, Bistro Roca, Woodlands, The Meadowbrook, Glidewell's, and Ooh La' La' Cupcakes. Advance Tickets ($25 each) available online, at the Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce (828.295.7851), and Chetola Resort. Tickets may be purchased at the door based on availability ($30). Seatings are 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30pm. Please limit dining to one hour as a courtesy to guests of the next seating.

10am THE POLAR PLUNGE for WINE TO WATER- Watch the fearless contenders take the Plunge into Chetola Lake. Sponsored by Chetola Resort. The #1 spectator sport in Blowing Rock. Don’t miss it! New Polar Plungers are welcome. It costs only $25 to jump. This year, the Polar Plunge will benefit the Boone-based non-profit organization Wine to Water, which will use all proceeds to help provide clean drinking water for a village in Ethiopia. Wine to Water founder and president Doc Hendley will even take the plunge!

- 10am - 5:00pm CROSS-COUNTRY SKI & SNOW EQUIPMENT EXHIBITION - Join Blowing Rock Realty and SweetGrass for a cross-country ski and snow equipment exhibition on the beautiful grounds of SweetGrass in Blowing Rock (just off 221, approx. 6 miles outside of Blowing Rock). Set in the Village of Blowing Rock, Isabella sets out on a wonderful flying adventure with her dog, Mullaby, and a flying companion, Red Tail.

8:00am WINTERFEST PANCAKE BREAKFAST - Join us Sunday from 8:00 am - 11:00 am at the Blowing Rock School Cafeteria on Morris Street just off of Main Street for a delicious pancake breakfast hosted by Knights On Main. Proceeds will go to Blowing Rock Fire and Rescue and the volunteers will be helping to serve you with all the trimmings. Tickets are available at the door.
