• ALL DAY SHOP 'TIL YOU DROP - Shop in our boutiques and specialty gift stores in town and at The Tanger Outlet Center throughout the day.
• WINTERFEAST 5:30pm - 7:30pm – A fabulous array of culinary delights as the best restaurants in the Blowing Rock area come together at Timberlake's Restaurant at Chetola Resort.  Join us for this annual dinner that will kick off Blowing Rock WinterFest 2013! Advance Tickets ($25 each) available online or at the Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce (828.295.7851) Participating restaurants include Timberlake's Restaurant at Chetola Resort, Rowlands at Westglow, The Table at Crestwood, The Best Cellar, The Laurel Room at the Green Park Inn, Canyons, Meadowbrook Inn and Foggy Rock with more to come! Tickets may be purchased at the door based on availability ($30). Seatings are 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30pm. Please limit dining to one hour as a courtesy to guests of the next seating.
• WINTER ALES CRAFT BEER TASTINGS - Foggy Rock Restaurant. Following each WinterFeast seating, come enjoy NC winter ales and meet the distributors. For the remainder of Winterfest weekend, Foggy Rock will be offering winter ale specials. 8180 Valley Blvd., Blowing Rock. 828-295-7262.

• WINTERFASHIONS SHOW - Timberlake's Restaurant at Chetola Resort, 11:00am  $25 for lunch and a wonderful fashion show of winter and spring wear from the ladies shops in the village.  What a great time to spend with the girls! Call the Blowing Rock Chamber for tickets 828.295.7851.

• BLOWING ROCK SCHOOL PTO SPAGHETTI DINNER AND BINGO - Blowing Rock School Cafeteria and Gymnasium, 5:00pm til 7:30pm.  $5 spaghetti dinner and $1 bingo cards.  Come out and for food, fun and fundraising for Blowing Rock's very special young residents!  Yes - we are still doing this!  Come by for spaghetti and bingo! 
• MK's SOUTHERN COOKING - 5:00pm til 9:00pm  - The Neighbors, a great local bluegrass band, will be playing.  Free! 
• WINE, CHEESE, AND ART! - The Mountain Cottage, 5:30-7:30. • CHILLIN' WITH THE HARRIS BROS - CANCELED DUE TO ROAD CONDITIONS - they couldn't get up the mountain. 
• APPALACHIAN SKI MOUNTAIN WINTERFEST SPECIAL EVENT - Appalachian Ski Mountain, 5pm til Midnight.  Special pricing on ski and snowboard lessons; reservations required.  Come, make the most of SNOW!

• THE POLAR PLUNGE - 10am Watch the fearless contenders take the Plunge into Chetola Lake. Sponsored by Chetola Resort. The #1 spectator sport in Blowing Rock. Don’t miss it! New Polar Plungers are welcome. It costs only $25 to jump. Proceeds to benefit Samaritan's Purse, Watauga Humane Society and Western Youth Network.

• CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES -11am -  3pm Parents are invited to accompany their children for activities such as crafts, reading and snowflake decorating and more. Activities scheduled in the American Legion Hall, just behind Memorial Park. Brought to you by Watauga Youth Network (WYN). The children's presence is requested at the wedding of Chilly and Crystal in Memorial Park at 3pm.  No rsvp's required! 
• CROSS-COUNTRY SKI & SNOW EQUIPMENT EXHIBITION - 10am - 5pm Join Blowing Rock Realty and SweetGrass for a cross-country ski and snow equipment exhibition on the beautiful grounds of SweetGrass in Blowing Rock (just off 221, approx. 6 miles outside of Blowing Rock). D-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s! -11am-3pm-ish CASI-sponsored Chili Cook-off!  Taste a wide variety of chili concocted by the pros.  Restaurants as well as individuals will be serving up spicy or mild, chunky and smooth for your tasting pleasure. Located at the Blowing Rock School Gymnasium on Morris Street.  Tickets available at the Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce, online, or at the door.

• WINTERFEST WINE TASTING - 2pm - Held again this year at The Historic Green Park Inn. Enjoy tasting a wide selection of fabulous local, regional and international wines.   Representatives will be on hand to talk about the characteristics of the many different wines which will be available for purchase.  The WinterFest Wine Tasting is immediately followed by the Wine Auction.  Purchase Tickets at the Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce or Online.
• A WINTERFEST WEDDING! -  3pm - Your presence is requested at the wedding of Chilly and Crystal, the WinterFest SnowFolks!  In Memorial Park.  Brought to you by ACES (Association of Consultants & Event Services). 
• WINTERFEST WINE AUCTION - 4pm The Historic Green Park Inn - Let the bidding begin!  An outstanding selection of wines and other items will be auctioned at the 15th Annual WinterFest Wine Auction.  A big crowd always turns out so come early.
• OLD FASHIONED INTERACTIVE MELODRAMA - We are so sorry but due to issues beyond their control, this event has been cancelled.  Please come see them this summer! -Ensemble Stage.
• DUSK BONFIRE -Weather permitting in Memorial Park. Make your own toasted marshmallows or s'mores. All supplies provided.
